First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy

Founding Chair of New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund

Tammy Snyder Murphy brings a wealth of public and private sector experience.

As First Lady of New Jersey, her policy initiatives have sought to improve infant and maternal health outcomes; incorporate climate change throughout the K-12 State Education Standards; and increase angel investing in women-led businesses. She currently serves as Secretary and Charter Member of The Climate Reality Action Fund, an organization founded by former Vice-President Al Gore, is Chair of New Jersey’s professional women’s soccer team, Sky Blue FC and serves as a trustee on two education boards, a health system and on a trans-Atlantic relations board.

Over the years, Tammy has worked with non-profits, a think-tank, and other organizations focused on the environment, education, health care, youth and family services, as well as the arts. Previously, she worked in finance in the U.S. and Europe and has traveled extensively throughout the world, living overseas in London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Berlin. Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications at the University of Virginia.

Josh Weinreich

Chief Executive Officer of New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund

A career finance executive, Josh retired in 2004 after 20 years on Wall Street where he served in senior positions at Bankers Trust Co. and Deutsche Bank, including as Global Head of Hedge Funds and Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Asset Management, Americas.

Josh is Chairman of the Board of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. He is Chairman of the Board of Leeds West and an independent Director of E*Trade Financial Corporation.

He previously served on the Board of Directors of Alliance Bernstein (2013 – 2017), as Independent Director of Skybridge Capital Hedge Fund Portfolios (2006-2018), as a Member of the Newark Academy Board of Trustees (2009 – 2014), and Member of the Cornell University Endowment Hedge Fund Subcommittee (2002 – 2012).

Josh is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He and his wife, Roby, live in Summit, N.J. where he is a member of the Board of Education. They have two grown children.
